Do I stop paying child support when child turns 18 or when he graduates high school?
Child support does not end when a child turns 18, unless they have already graduated from high school. Child support may continue even if a child has graduated from high school IF they have not turned 18 years of age.
Make sure to check with your local court to make sure that you do not need to file a motion to terminate child support for the child that child support is no longer required.
Also, if you have a support wage assignment with your employer, you will want to obtain a new one if there are other minor children involved in your case.
